What is tfl?

Transport for London (TfL) is a statutory corporation established by section 154 of the Greater London Authority Act 1999. It is a functional body of the Greater London Authority which reports to the Mayor of London. It is the integrated body responsible for the capital's transport system. Its role is to implement the Mayor's Transport Strategy for London and manage the transport services across the capital for which the Mayor has responsibility.
